mEET TARA
I came to this work the long way round.
Or perhaps more accurately, you could say it crept up from behind, as a persistent nudge from my younger self. Not because the path was unclear, but because it took me a long time to learn to trust a gift that lands through feeling rather than formula.
I’ve been mapping beauty for as long as I can remember. Endlessly rearranging rooms, playing with colour and objects and textures, watching the light change, adding something, taking something away, then starting again from scratch. Always finding my greatest joy in those moments of stepping back and knowing - yes, that. Some of this was passed down to me by my mother, who had a way of beginning with very little - what others might call junk - and ending with something genuinely beautiful. She gave me this sort of North Star I’ve carried with me all my life: always leave things better than you find them.
What I do feels more responsive than prescriptive - part design, part curation, part deep listening, and part something that doesn’t have a clean professional category. For many years I told myself I needed just one more thing before I could offer my work - one more certification, one more technical skill, one more finished room, one more project for a friend, one more reason to feel ready.
What I finally came to understand is that this thing I was waiting to become, I had always been.
Fabled Spaces is the studio I’ve built around this knowing. It sits within the confluence of design, energetics, and atmosphere. I believe that places are living storytellers. That they are in constant conversation with the people residing within them - shaping moods, habits, experiences, and the stories we tell about ourselves.
My approach layers the technical with the intuitive. A grounded understanding of how light, form, material and colour harmonise. Alongside a natural sensitivity to what a space is holding, or withholding. This truer version- of both a space, and the life lived within it- is what I am always seeking to unearth in our time together.
This is the work I was made for, and I would love to do it for you.
I’m glad you found your way here.

A Note Before You Start.
The spaces we inhabit are deeply personal - they hold our habits, our histories, and our most intimate aspirations. I treat every enquiry with the discretion and care that it deserves.
Tell me about your space. Tell me what it is, what it isn't, and what you hope it could become. That is enough to begin.
For those who would rather talk than type - I understand completely. Just note it in your message and I will be in touch to arrange a time.
I endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.
